Our Rates

Prices are per room per night and may include Full Irish breakfast and all taxes, if the room is reserved with breakfast, for Room only reservations, all taxes are included in the rate
 
Where you have booked a number of nights, and due to this have received a discount per night for your stay. If you are to change your reservation to less nights than reserved, then the discount on any night will not apply, and will be removed, of which you will pay the full nightly amount.

Our Card Process

Your credit card details are only held as guarantee. When making a reservation your card details are preauthorised however not charged. This means that you must have sufficient funds on the card for one night’s stay. You can then pay when you arrive to the hotel with card or cash. For bookings over 7 days we may require a deposit via bank transfer however this is by manager's discretion.

Modifications

Guests must  modify all reservations 5 working days before the date of arrival, and no charge will be taken. Please also note all  modifications must be made in writing, either by fax or email. 

Cancelations

Cancelations over the phone will not be accepted.
 
if you made your reservation on an outside website, that resells our accommodation, then you must cancel your reservation with that company.
 
While we regret if any one has to cancel, here is out Cancelation Policy,
 
If you cancel up to 8 Days before you are due to arrive, there is no cancelation charge, except you loose your booking deposit
 
If you cancel between 7 – 3 days before you are due to arrive, there is a cancelation charge for your First nights Stay
 
If you cancel 2 or less days, or do not show up your booking will be charged for the full amount of you stay.
 
With once off incidents like the Volcanic Ash in 2010 / Airline Strikes , we do not charge any cancelation charge as this circumstance is totally out of your control. The week of the Volcanic Ash in April 2010, we lost €3,250 worth of business, and did not charge anyone, as this was a circumstance beyond any guests control.
 
The majority of our business is reservations, as most guests prefer to have accommodation arranged and reserved, so we have to have a cancelation policy because of this, as if room are canceled and we cannot sell them we would suffer, especially when we would probably have refused business because of your reservation, I hope you understand.

Special Offers

We only allow one special offer per reservation. Where you see various special offers, pick the one that suits your reservation most, and give you the best value / discount. 

Check in / Out Times

Check in time is any time after 14:00pm. If guests arrive before, we can offer to hold luggage at the hotel. Check out time on the date of departure is 11:00am. For later Check out times, please organize this with reservations the evening before departure. 
 
If you are to arrive later than 18.00 please call us on the day of arrival to notify us of your estimated arrival time.
 
If one the day your reservation is due to commence, that you have not arrived by 18.00, we have the right to charge your card to ascertain its authenticity. If there should be insufficient means to cover you accommodation costs, we will try and contact you at the phone number you have given, to ascertain your location, if we are unsuccessful in contacting you, then we have no choice but to cancel the reservation immediately. We cannot be held responsible if you arrive later in the evening, and there is no availability for you, as we have done our utmost to ascertain your whereabouts.
 
Equally we offer the service to guests where we can hold luggage after 11:00am until the end of the day on the date of departure.

Legal Governance

Your booking is governed by Irish law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. The booking confirmation and these terms represent the entire agreement between O' Donnabhain's and you. 
 
You confirm that you have not entered into the contract with O' Donnabhains on the basis of any representation not expressly incorporated into these documents.

Liability

O' Donnabhain's does not accept liability for any omissions or errors and reserves the right at any time to change information published on the site. 
 
O' Donnabhain's does not accept liability for any loss either indirect or consequential that may arise from the use of or connected with O Donnabhain's  web site or for any products or services purchased from O' Donnabhain's web site

Complaints

Any complaint about the booking service must be notified to O Donnabhain's in writing or by email as soon as possible. 

Any complaint regarding your stay with us must be brought to our attention  as early as possible during your stay and, if not resolved to your satisfaction, should be notified to the O Donnabhain's in writing.

Guest behavior

You are expected to conduct yourself at all times in an orderly and acceptable manner and not to disrupt the quiet enjoyment of other guests. We reserve the right to immediately terminate your booking and the booking of any members of your party if we (acting reasonably) deem your conduct to be in breach of this clause.
 
Conduct that we reasonably consider inappropriate and in breach of clause  includes but is not limited to:
 
(a) creating an inappropriate level of noise;
 
(b) drunken or unruly behavior; and/or
 
(c) any behavior which other guests or staff find offensive in any way.
 
We will at all times act reasonably when making any determination 
 
In the event that we terminate your booking , you will be required to leave your accommodation immediately. You will be held liable for any damage or loss caused by you or a member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or loss must be paid prior to your departure. If you fail to make payment, you will be responsible for meeting any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions together with all costs we incur in pursuing any claim against you.
 
Our obligations to you come to an end when the booking is terminated. We will have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation and we will not pay for any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination.

Miscellaneous

Passport, visa and health requirements for you and your party are your responsibility. You are strongly recommended to obtain travel insurance against cancelation.
 
You warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. All bookings are personal to you and may not be sold, assigned or otherwise transferred.
 
If our hotel reservation confirmations are used inappropriately as means of VISA application, an admin fee will be charged and the customer will be reported to the local authorities.

Transfer of reservation

Some time due to circumstances beyond our control, we may have to transfer a reservation to another premisies of the same standard as rated by the Irish Tourist Board, and at the same rate as you have booked. This may happen as a result of possibly a guest who is sick and we are unable to transfer them to facilitate your reservation. Due to this we cannot be held liable for any conformance issues in relaton to your reservation. You can be totally assure that you will be transferred to a similar property in terms of standard and price within the town of kenmare.
